A new community initiative sets out to revive the island's historic connection to outdoor painting and build a festival rooted in education, exhibitions and local partnership.
From Island Friends to the Founding Legacy Circle, early members will help shape the direction of the festival and its year-round programming.
The proposed festival will feature juried painting, a public Quick Draw, artist talks with youth invitations, a collector cocktail mingle and an awards celebration across Avalon.
